Adult Counselling (Indoors) (18+)
You have the expertise that you need. Counselling helps you access this expertise, by acting as a mirror so that you can objectively hear and see yourself. This reflection brings awareness to behavioural patterns or ways of thinking that developed over time that kept you stuck. Increased awareness and knowledge gained through counselling helps you to develop greater self-compassion towards yourself, freeing you to live a life filled with more acceptance and ease.

Adult Counselling (Outdoors) (18+)
Walk-and-talk therapy is an alternate form of counselling that is offered at Sigh of Relief. For some, being outside helps them to feel grounded and calm while connecting to nature. Before a walk-and-talk session, the route will be discussed and things that need to be considered (i.e. privacy, attire, being spotted in public, weather, allergies, etc.), as well as the duration. The entire 1hr or 1.5 hrs could be spent walking. However, if this is too much, perhaps walking a shorter distance to sit at a private bench or sitting on a blanket in a semi-secluded grassy area would be preferred, the choice is yours.
